International Law Section (ILS) Conference

The ILS conference will be held on the Friday the 14th through to the 15th of March, 2014 with the aims of highlight and discuss important immigration law issues; to provide participants with a forum to exchange experiences; and to provide legal professionals with CPD point’s accreditation under the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) scheme.

The conference invites high-level practitioners with the largest most respected national and global law firms from many continents. The conference will feature prominent speakers from start to finish, making it an explicit event for lawyers with a practice or interest in international legal issues.

With extensive expertise in immigration, Anne O’Donoghue earned titles such as Executive Treasurer, International Law Section; and Chair, MLC Sydney Conference Organising Committee. This session is the Immigrant Entrepreneurs (the pathway to economic citizenship), it considers the implementation of Australia’s SIV and other investor programmes as well as attracting international perspectives on immigrant entrepreneurs.
